In showing hidden mysteries of the spiritual realm, the book highlights the fact that God is Spirit, and to know Him, we do so in spirit and in truth. But it also shows us that since we live in this physical world, which has the enemies fingerprints everywhere, many have been deceived, even into believing they are serving God, yet not honestly knowing Him. You show in the book that knowing Him is biblically supported, but also extends beyond just following scriptural rules and precepts, to a daily response to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Based on the traditions of the church, this is one of the hardest concepts to get across to many believers. God’s intent is for us to follow His written word, but it is also for us to be spiritually unified with Him, knowing His voice, and following Him in obedient love.
