Dissect My Soul Ministries was founded in 1988 in Hanover Park, IL by Zelma McKinney, Minister of God’s Word. The ministry was created at the divine will of Jesus Christ, the living Son of God. In July 1986, God appeared to Minister McKinney and informed her that she was a good person with a kind heart … but that He did not know her and He walked away leaving her in tears. She spent the next 10 months searching for answers to life and trying to discover who God really is. Her heart could only pray, “Cleanse me, Lord” or “Lord, change me.” The prayers changed in June 1987 to “Lord, dissect my soul.” Not truly understanding what the words meant, she found that she could pray nothing else. Shortly thereafter, God reappeared and began to pour a series of messages to the Christian world into her spirit. God also revealed the purposes of the many trials and tribulations that she and her family had been forced to endure over the prior year. God explained that she had to become helpless to truly understand His ways and trust Him in all things.

Once Minister McKinney proved her obedience by performing God’s chosen tasks even under the persecution of others, God placed her in spiritual exile where she was spoon-fed the word of God by the Lord Himself and the Holy Ghost. She basked daily in the presence of the Heavenly Father as He showered her human spirit and soul with His divine revelations and truths. During this time, Minister McKinney experienced an unspeakable joy as the Lord “Dissected” her soul and body. She was shown how to love everyone…how to forgive and not judge. She began to see with different eyes. Things that were before, were no more; and things that were not, were with God. God cared for her like a little child and opened her eyes to the precious spiritual things of the Lord. Before God released Minister McKinney from His care and training, and after she knew and understood God’s will for her life, He also introduced her to the world of darkness controlled by the adversary of God. The Lord equipped her with the ability to discern evil spirits in order that she might have the necessary weapons of warfare in completing all missions of Christ. Therefore, the adversary of God daily fights to cease the completion of the work undertaken by Dissect My Soul Ministries.

As Minister McKinney goes forth, she teaches as God has instructed. She proclaims to all that God is real, and that He is the only true God. She declares to others that God is waiting for all men to open their hearts and allow Him to come in. To the Christian world, God says, “My heart is broken at the state of the Christian world. Three-fourths of the Christian world is on its way to hell and don’t know it. I’m not going to wait much longer…” Therefore, the members of Dissect My Soul Ministries march forward declaring, “He which testifieth these things saith, ‘Surely I come quickly.’ Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.” (Rev. 22:20-21)
