Words of Wisdom: Shadow of Death

Consecration and Scripture Reference:

The LORD is GOD.  He protects us from all dangers.  He often causes us to walk within the darkness of this world to carry out His missions.  We must never fear BUT always obey.  Pray your way through the scriptures below and see the love that God provides along the way.  If you can just believe this scripture alone, amazing visions of the Almighty God can appear.  Amen.

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. (Psalms 23:1-6)

Words of Wisdom: Have Mercy On Me Lord

Consecration and Scripture Reference:

Teachings:

My life has been a roller coaster of trials and tribulations over the last few months.  The last 7 days have proven to be worse yet.  All these things have been allowed by God to teach me how to trust and love Him more.  All that I teach, I must first live.  When I live it, it then becomes my testimony and no one can alter or cause me to deny that which I have personally endured.  I am grateful to God for being my friend.  In the midst of all matters of life, I still find the teachings of God to be true and everlasting.  If you follow the truths below, you will ALWAYS prevail over darkness.  As I endured the darkness that was before me, I followed the steps below which I now pass on to you.  Study the scriptures and make them your own.  Amen.

Always repent before the Lord…daily.  When you pray, assume that you have sinned in some manner, even if you do not know the specifics.  This cannot be a routine that is not genuine.  It cannot be half-hearted.  God will read your heart to see if your repentance is genuine.  See the words of Psalm 51 below. Use this as your daily guide with the goal of God restoring a “Clean Heart” within you.

Worship God in spirit and in truth.  God is Spirit and is all “Truth.”  There is no evil or darkness within Him.  God does not need us constantly begging for stuff and things in life.  All we need to do is “honestly” Worship Him! See the scriptures below.  When we worship God, darkness cannot remain in our lives.  True worship is a product of true love.

  • 1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. 15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. 18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem. 19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.  (Psalms 51:1-19)

  • 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.  (John 4:23-24)

  • 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.  (John 14:16-17)

  • 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.  (John 16:13-15)

Words of Wisdom: Considered

Scripture Reference for Consecration:

Dear Christian Friends, know that God, the Almighty God, loves you and me!  Have you ever “Considered” life without God? Looking at the world alone without the presence of God…where would we be?  True Believers are to live by the words of the LORD.  We cannot govern our existence here on earth without submitting our hearts unto the LORD.  Many say that they know the Lord, and do not.  Others say they can live sinful lives and still be saved, but the word of God does not support this view.

Let us prayerfully study the Word and make a conscious choice to find our way to the throne of God.  Become a character in the story as you “Consider” the scriptures below:

  • Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.  (Prov 30:5)
  • Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.  (Isaiah 45:22-23)
  • Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.  (Psalms 119:160)
  • I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. (Psalms 119:101)
  • But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matt 4:4)

Words of Wisdom: Clouds

Scripture Reference for Consecration:

Dear Believers in Christ Jesus.  NEVER take God for granted.  He is our only hope in all things.  His arms are outstretched and waiting for us all to love Him unconditionally. Please read and consider the words below.  He who hath an ear to hear, let him hear what the Lord is saying.  Amen.

  • 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the  Spirit. (John 3:6-8)
  • God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
  • Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. 6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. 7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. 8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them. 9 He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it. 10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. 11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. 12 He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. 13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent. 14 Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand? (Job 26:5-14)

Words of Wisdom: I Am Following Jesus Christ

Scripture Reference for Understanding, Meditation, and Consecration:

Many believers say that they love the Lord.  However, according to God, they lie with their lips as their hearts reveal the truth and expose the lie.  Do they intend to lie?  I believe most believers do not intend to lie, but rather they have no spiritual conception of what it means to truly love and follow the LORD.  I will continue to have faith that change is possible.  Unfortunately, the needed change has to begin with the Church.  Church Leaders and Pastors must first submit to “absolute surrender” of their own hearts, and then to be bold and brave enough in Christ Jesus to teach and show their congregations how to follow them as they follow the LORD.

Paul encouraged the new believers to follow him as he too understood that he had to follow Jesus Christ.  God has revealed that most “leaders” of today are NOT within the will of God, and yet they want others to follow them.  God will hold such “leaders” accountable for every soul that has been led astray. See the scriptures below to see what Paul had to say on this subject: (Highlights added below for emphasis and direction)

  • 15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 16 Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
    (1 Cor 4:15-16)
  • 1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.  (1 Cor 11:1-2)
  • 17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. 18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) 20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: 21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. (Phil 3:17-21)

Once a Believer has “tasted” of the Glory of God, stood in His Presence, or witnessed the visual Glory of God, and yet refuses to obey the words of the LORD, there is no way God grants HIS peace to such a soul.  This is stated in both the NT and the OT.  There are those that would lead God’s people to believe that they can live how they want and not obey the LORD.  This is a lie from the enemy of God.

The scriptures say that it is impossible to have tasted of the Glory of God and to walk away and then come back!  The true issue here is understanding what it means to “taste” the heavenly gift of God or to be “filled” with the Holy Ghost.  Not everyone who confesses with the mouth is “born again” of the Holy Ghost! There MUST be an outward change that is reflective of the conditions of the heart of man.  This heart evaluation is conducted only by God Himself.  God does not care what we say with the mouth…it is the heart of man that reveals the truth!  Therefore, when man has truly “known” God and experienced His Glory or stood in His Presence, this means that such a man is absolutely aware that GOD is GOD.  Do you think that God would allow anyone to know Him and choose to walk away in disobedience and serve His enemy and then allow such a one to come back to HIM?  God Forbid! My LORD says that it is far better to admit that we have NEVER known Him in His Glory than to remain ignorant by believing that we do know Him. When we come to terms with the fact that we have NEVER been “born again” or “filled” with the Glory of the LORD, we are then free to seek the LORD in helping us to be what He desires us to be.  We then are able to be forgiven for the many mistakes we have made! See the scriptures below to see what God has to say on this subject.  Obedience to God is the key. Repentance…true repentance is required!  There is no way around this requirement. (Emphasis added below for clarification)

  • 20 And the Lord said, I have pardoned according to thy word: 21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord. 22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; 23 Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: 24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it. (Num 14:20-24)
  • 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.  (Heb 6:4-6)

God expects mankind to obey HIM.  Plain and simple.  He expects all “souls” that dare to be called by His name to follow him “wholly” and completely. There are those who will say it is impossible to “wholly” or completely follow the LORD.  Those who teach this flawed theology are liars according to the Word of God!  The scriptures below show us what God has to say about “wholly” following Him:

  • 11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me: 12 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the Lord.  (Num 32:11-12)
  • 6 Then the children of Judah came unto Joshua in Gilgal: and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite said unto him, Thou knowest the thing that the Lord said unto Moses the man of God concerning me and thee in Kadeshbarnea. 7 Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart. 8 Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the Lord my God.  (Josh 14:6-8)
  • 10 Then came the word of the Lord unto Samuel, saying, 11 It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the Lord all night. (1 Sam 15:10-11)
  • 4 And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: 5 Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel. 6 But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them: 7 Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people: 8 And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and to this house? 9 And they shall answer, Because they forsook the Lord their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the Lord brought upon them all this evil.  (1 Kings 9:4-9)
  • 7 Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel, 8 And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes; 9 But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back: 10 Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.  (1 Kings 14:7-10)

When God Himself speaks and tells a man to “follow Him,” it is not a suggestion but a charge or command.  The spirit of the person that is so charged “Knows” God and who He is when these words are spoken.  It is the spirit of man that responds obediently and “follows” God.  As Jesus called His disciples, they were strangers, yet they walked away from everything in their lives and “followed” Him.  The Gospels share these accounts differently and they have been included here so that you can see the variation in the pattern and understand the will of God and His expected obedience from those He has chosen to follow Him.  God expects us to have absolute faith in Him and to put nothing before Him in our lives.  This is the only way we can follow Him!  See the scriptures below that validate my words.  (Emphasis is added for clarification)

  • 18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. 19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. 20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him. 21 And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. 22 And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him. (Matt 4:18-22)
  • 18 Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side. 19 And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. 21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.  (Matt 8:18-22)
  • 9 And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.  (Matt 9:9)
  • 27 And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. 28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. 29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. 30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. (Matt 9:27-30)
  • 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.  (Matt 10:38)
  • 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. (Matt 16:24)
  • 16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.  (Matt 19:16, 21-22)
  • 13 And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them. 14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.  (Mark 2:13-14)
  • 34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
    (Mark 8:34)

In trying to live for Jesus Christ, it is NEVER about doing good deeds or even trying to live by the scriptures.  GOODNESS is not enough, saith the LORD God Almighty.  Our willingness to do the right thing as we intellectually understand the scriptures will never be enough if we cannot translate our actions into “following” the LORD!  When we have absolutely surrendered our hearts and personal will unto the LORD, we automatically follow God.  He does not need to ask us to do so…we follow Him.  When we refuse to follow Jesus Christ, we are admitting to God that we have not yet surrendered our hearts to His will, and that we have NOT been “Born Again.”  To be “Born Again” is to have the Spirit of God unite with and give life to our natural spirit.  Communication with God is always “Spirit to spirit.”  This transformation is needed to “see” or “enter” the Kingdom of God, thus declares the scriptures.

When we have absolutely surrendered unto Jesus Christ, we delight daily to be in the presence of God.  We follow Him around to see and hear His voice. We are content to sit silently at the feet of our LORD.  When we cherish our possessions above following God, we MUST honestly admit to ourselves that we have NEVER known the LORD!  (Emphasis is added to the scriptures below for clarification):

  • 17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? 18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. 19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. 20 And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. 21 Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me. (Mark 10:17-21)
  • 27 And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me. 28 And he left all, rose up, and followed him.  (Luke 5:27-28)
  • 57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. 59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. 61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.  (Luke 9:57-62)
  • 18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. 21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. 22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. 24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved? 27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. 28 Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.  (Luke 18: 18-28)
  • 43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me. 44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.  (John 1:43-51)

When we allow God to control us, we begin to see Him for who He is.  We are able to distinguish between light and dark and good and evil.  Jesus is the light of ALL things pertaining to God.  Walking in disobedience before the LORD is walking in darkness.  It is impossible to walk simultaneously in the light of God and the darkness of Satan, AND actually be within the will of God.  We must choose.

It is easy to discern the spiritual walk of man when he demonstrates a lack of knowledge of the Glory of God.  When we are ridiculed for our work in Christ Jesus, it becomes clear that this is coming from the spirit of darkness.  The bible teaches us that if we KNOW the Lord, we will also recognize others that KNOW Him.  To be persecuted by those who claim to know God gives “true” believers the right to say as Jesus said, “Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.”  This does not make such a one special or unique.  Nor does it mean that such a believer is equal to Jesus.  It simply qualifies such a one to rejoice in the knowledge of the truth of who God is.

On a personal level, the statement of the Lord above allows me to proclaim that I have KNOWN the LORD!  Should I abandon that which I know just to please others?  Is it more acceptable for me to make others comfortable and risk God believing that I am ashamed of Him?  Should I diminish my relationship, or walk, with God for the sake of others?  O LORD, I cannot walk away!  It is the devil himself who would require me to compromise on knowing my LORD.  I cannot forget the testimony of my LORD, or reject the revelations of what God has taught me.  I will never ignore my experiences that have brought me this far.  I judge no one, but I will not allow the judgment of me by others to cause me to grieve my Lord and my God. O LORD, have mercy on me.

  • 12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. 13 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true. 14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go. 15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. 16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. 17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. 19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come. (John 8:12-20)
  • 22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter. 23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. 26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  (John 10:22-27)
  • 26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels. 27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.  (Luke 9:26-27)

There are great blessings in store for all who “follow” the LORD.  God seeks the heart of man that He might be glorified.  We show no glory to our God when we refuse to follow Him.  We MUST love him with all our heart. There is no other way!  The scriptures declare that those that truly belong to Jesus are those that have been given to Him by Father God.  Because God knows the heart of man and those that are “true” believers, these are the “followers” that cannot be plucked from the hand of GOD.  These “followers” are those that will receive eternal life!  The disobedient cannot claim the promises of God.  We must fall in love with Jesus Christ. Not everyone that says “Lord, Lord” is a follower of the LORD.  See scriptures below that rewards those that willingly, without question, “Follow the LORD.”

  • 28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.  (Matt 19:28-30)
  • 23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. 24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. 25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? (Luke 9: 23-25)
  • 29 And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God’s sake, 30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. (Luke 18:29-30)
  • 23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. 25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. (John 12:23-26)
  • 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and my Father are one. (John 10:28-30)

Words of Wisdom: Evil is Everywhere

Words of Wisdom:

This past weekend, I watched portions of the original movie, Godzilla.  What I saw were clear visions of evil.  I never realized before that Godzilla is an alleged sea monster.  The bible warns us of many dangers lurking in the sea.  In this movie, I saw a relentless creature out to destroy mankind around the world.  It was so focused in its pursuit that every possible defense that the “humans” brought forth to combat this creature, only met a more dedicated pursuit for them to be destroyed.  This presented me with a visual image of how Satan attacks the souls of man.  He never stops coming.  He continuously breeds others to carry out his missions of destruction against the people of God.  He, not only has an army of demons, but also a “human” army that is willing to serve him.  How ironic is it that even so-called believers, or false Christians can serve his cause.  They do so by pretending to love Jesus, by allowing themselves to become passive participants, and allow Satan the use of their bodies and their minds. Many do this in exchange for power, riches and wealth on earth, while others are truly ignorant to the fact that they are being used by Satan.  Yes, I am speaking of demonic possessions.  With this, I must remove them from the category of “true believers”.  These possessed believers are actually false Christians who are controlled by Satan.  Guard your soul as it is up for grabs to be owned and controlled by whichever spirit you serve!

Today I also came across a man who is an active Satanist.  He mocked Jesus Christ and God Almighty.  He cursed my God unmercifully.  He then challenged God to hit him with thunder and lightning if his words had angered Him.  After there were no such actions by God, he then bragged saying that this was proof that there is no God.  He is God, he claims.  His money is God.  You are God.  It was difficult to watch and listen to, but necessary.  You see, my LORD God Almighty wanted to show me the difference between those who say they love him and those who actively fight and speak for Satan.  Satan employs dedicated, relentless, and totally committed activists to fight for his cause against the LORD God.  They do so with the same dedicated pursuit that I saw in the Godzilla movie!  They stop at nothing to get what they want.  The demons operate in fear of what Satan will do to them, while the Satanist attempts to inflict fear against the people of God. They are controlled by their greed for power and fame.  They want the people of God to be afraid.

Just so you know that I am not off base, know that Leviathan is a sea monster that God speaks of in the books of Job, Psalm, and Isaiah.  Have you ever considered who this is?  Do you simply react to it as fiction and see movies such as Godzilla as mere entertainment? The serpent in the Garden of Eden was not a snake!  It was an evil enemy of God.  It lies at the bottom of sea and is capable of transforming itself even into an angel of light.  The sea is filled with “demons” and evil creatures, according to the word of God and the Divine Revelation that He has given me!  Take this knowledge and apply it to the scriptures below and may God have mercy on your soul!

Scriptures for Consecration:

What is a Sea Monster?

  • God’s message to Job after he refused to use the power of God that had been granted to him as a resource in his battle against Satan:
    • 8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? 9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it, 10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, 11 And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? (Job 38:8-11)
    • 1 Moreover the Lord answered Job, and said, 2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it. 3 Then Job answered the Lord, and said, 4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
5 Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.  6 Then answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said, 7 Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.  (Job 40:1-7)
  • God informed Job of the dangers of following Satan as a Sea Monster (behemoth & Leviathan):
    • 15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. 16 Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. 17 He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. 18 His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. 19 He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him20 Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. 21 He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. 22 The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. 23 Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. 24 He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
      (Job 40:15-24)
    • 1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? 2 Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? 3 Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee? 4 Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever? 5 Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens? 6 Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants? 7 Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears? 8 Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more. 9 Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him? 10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me? 11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine. 12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion. 13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle? 14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about. 15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal. 16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them. 17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered. 18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. 19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. 20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. 21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. 22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him. 23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved. 24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves. 26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon. 27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood. 28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble. 29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear. 30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire. 31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment. 32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary. 33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear. 34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride. (Job 41:1-34)

Words of Wisdom: Divine Revelation of Clouds

Divine Revelation and Wisdom of God

Dear Students and Followers of Dissect My Soul Ministries, I greet you today in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the Living Son of God.  I pray that you will do all that you can to right the wrongs in your lives in order to conform to the perfect will of God.  This is my prayer not only for you, but also for me.  Amen.

I bring to you today the revelation of God regarding a very unusual cloud that I witnessed a few days ago.  I asked God at the time I saw this strange phenomenon to explain to me what I saw…if it was His will that I know.  This morning, as I labored in prayer and worship with God, He explained what I saw.  It was not a vision, as some of you might think.  My companion driver saw this image of the cloud and the darkened shadow just as I did.  See God’s revelation below:

“Zelma, my Child, hear my words of Wisdom and explanation of what you saw near the mountain.  There was no shadow.  There was an unusual cloud that you witnessed on the backside of the mountain.  My Spirit prevailed in the cloud.  I only hovered over a portion of the mountain which was that portion filled with light.  I am all light.  There is no darkness within Me.  The shadow that appeared on the mountain that had not my light was that part of the mountain that was missing my Presence.  So it is with the world around you.  When I am not present, artificial light appears to the natural eye and gives all men a false sense of comfort.  If they have never known the light that I AM, they do not even know they are in darkness.  This is what breaks my heart.  They say that I am there with them when I am not.  They say this because they have not yet known Me.  As you saw the dark shadowy mountains looming ahead, so do I see the darkness that is prevailing over those who claim to know Me.  How long must I wait?  When will they truly love Me?  I am the Almighty God that can provide all things.  Yet I am not loved as God Almighty!  Should I leave the whole world in darkness since they love their lives and their own wisdom more than Me?  It is my desire that ALL men should know Me and love Me.  Tell them to “consider” the mountains that you witnessed.  Do they want to live in the shadow of darkness cast by the spirit of evil or do they desire to rest in my Presence and be gathered into my arms that provide perpetual light?  Remember that “I Am that I Am that I Am” and always will be.  Tell them my child…Tell them that I am the LORD!”

Scripture Reference and Consecration:

As you read the scriptures below, place yourself in the story as either the person being spoken to, the one being disobedient, or the one being blessed.  Make it personal to your life. Remember that even though the scriptures explain to you the character of God and how He handled or spoke to the people of that time, it only becomes relevant to you if you become the character in the story and seek to follow the character of God.  This prevents each of us from “pretending” that we are better than those being spoken to.  Amen.

Also notice that God always had an independent message for the people.  Know that He is still speaking to us today. We make God a liar when we say that He is not able to speak and reveal to His people today.  Seek God for further understanding of the revelation that is stated herein.  Remain blessed in the Lord Forever.  Amen.

  • And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.
    (Deut. 28:29)
  • The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. (Deut. 29:29)
  • 1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? 2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (Isaiah 53: 1-3)
  • 19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven. 20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: 22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him. 23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter. (Dan. 2:19-23)

Words of Wisdom: Children of God

red rose on a bible page

Words of Wisdom and Scripture Reference:

Today, God spoke an awesome truth that, although I knew, I realized I did not know it as God wanted me to know and understand it.  I now share this teaching with you.  You might receive the words with your mind and miss the blessing, so seek the face of God for the true spiritual implications of the referenced scriptures and explanation provided.

A portion of my study today was in Deuteronomy 26.  This led me to other chapters about the intent of God and the role He expects to play in our lives.  It has never been the intent of God for Him to simply be the God of our fathers, but rather that He should be Our God! He made the first correction of this problem with the Israelites as presented in the study of the book of Deuteronomy.  Even before we accept Him as our God, He showers us with His Love and protection.  Then…He expects us to make a choice as He did with Israel.  We have to make a choice to accept or reject Him as our God.  When we choose God as OUR God, we enter into a covenant relationship with Him as Father and Keeper of our souls.  This covenant relationship hinges on our willingness to repent and obey His laws.

God had to move Israel from a dependent relationship with Him to a personal relationship of choice.  Those who agreed to repent and obey became his people, and He became their God! This new relationship allowed them to enter into a covenant with God whereby they became beneficiaries of the blessings or curses explained.

As we read the holy scriptures today, we face the same choices.  We must look at the bible as a detailed “history” of the workings of God as He dealt with His people.  We see many gods spoken of in the bible, and we have to decide what we believe and do not believe. If we conclude that Jehovah God is GOD, we must “choose” Him as our God.  When we choose Him, He requires of us the same thing as He did with Israel.  We must accept His “Truths” as our way of life.  We must agree to follow and obey His Truths.  We must repent if we have failed to follow Him after knowing what we should do!  When we repent, He searches the heart to see if our words are valid.  It is the heart that is judged and not the mouth.  When we are true to God, He grants us the right to be called the “children of God.” As you expect your earthly children to follow and obey you, so it is with our LORD.

All relationships with God hinge upon the truthfulness of our repentant hearts.  The promises of the bible do not belong to us until we become “People of God” and He becomes our GOD!  In addition to the scriptures below, please read, study, and pray through Deuteronomy 26-31.  Amen.

Scripture References:

  • 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:5-10)
  • 1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. (1 John 3:1-10)

Thoughts: Chaos

The world is in chaos. The Christian world is even worse.  God will hold EVERY Pastor, Minister, and Christian Leader responsible for this apparent chaos. The requirements of God for true Christian Leaders are real. The scriptures below make this very clear. It is not acceptable for Leaders or any believing Christian to stand by and ignore the truth of who God is. It is not OK for Leaders to focus on the things of the world and their own needs and fail to teach those entrusted to them how to fall in love with the LORD. Why do the self-proclaiming people of God pretend to be serving the LORD and yet have no effect on the evil around them or in their circles of influence? The current evil upon the earth has surpassed that which existed when the LORD destroyed the world with the flood! At that time, God only found one family on the face of the Planet worthy of saving.   What will He see now? How many families will be saved from the present dangers that we face?

There is a huge spiritual war brewing right now. Spiritual Discernment must be utilized to understand clearly what is happening. Could this be the time that all souls are required to declare their loyalty, to finally use the will that the LORD has granted to us all? We are truly positioned to choose life or death, the LORD God Almighty or Satan himself. Let us ALL seek the LORD Fervently in this time of Chaos! FEED your faith Daily.

  1. Pray first that the LORD will show you how to become ONE with Him and live within His will.
  2. Pray that the power of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ will bind the evil in this world.
  3. Pray for your family and loved ones;
  4. Pray for your church and its Leaders;
  5. Pray for your community at large.
  6. Pray for the protection of all souls that are willing to be governed and led ONLY by the great I AM THAT I AM.
  7.  Pray that the LORD will have mercy on our souls! Amen.

Titus 1:15-16 (KJV)
15  Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16  They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

Thoughts: Trusting God Never Fails

words faith, hope, love

I know the LORD and trust Him with all of my heart, all of my mind, all of my soul, AND with all of my strength! This is not hyperbole but is buried deep within my soul. I can honestly say that every promise God has ever made me during my lifetime has been fulfilled. Through the years, I have maintained faith in God’s promises and held to my faith in uncertainty only because God, the LORD, had spoken.

The Faith Journey I embarked upon has been the best thing in my life. First, He allowed me to KNOW Him and then HEAR His voice! Next, He taught me how to TRUST Him and ultimately how to OBEY Him! There has been so much learned along the way. PEACE is underrated until you have experienced the PEACE of the great “I AM THAT I AM.” Through this incredible journey, I fell madly, radically in love with God! Loving Jesus brings clarity to ALL matters.

Over thirty years ago, God commissioned me to write a book. Of course, I said yes and started to write even though I knew nothing about getting a book published. God assured me that He knew everything that I needed to know. Even though the years have passed, I continued to trust God. I even realized that my students often laughed at my insistence that “God said it and I believe it.” I eventually wrote that book, which will be published on Wednesday, May 7th, 2025! Please read the messages that are included. Trust the revelations provided, no matter how they appear to the natural mind. We are spiritual beings, and we must follow in spirit and truth! The book is called, “A Call from God for Change.”

He said it, I believed it, and God delivered! Thank you, LORD God, my Savior and my very best Friend! Now, to all Christians, Trust God at all times. Feed your faith daily by seeking His face and avoiding the enemy’s whispers in your ears. Guard your spirit always before the Lord.
