Words of Wisdom: Shadow of Death

Consecration and Scripture Reference:

The LORD is GOD.  He protects us from all dangers.  He often causes us to walk within the darkness of this world to carry out His missions.  We must never fear BUT always obey.  Pray your way through the scriptures below and see the love that God provides along the way.  If you can just believe this scripture alone, amazing visions of the Almighty God can appear.  Amen.

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. Dear Christian Friends, know that God, the Almighty God, loves you and me!  Have you ever “Considered” life without God? Looking at the world alone without the presence of God…where would we be?  True Believers are to live by the words of the LORD.  We cannot govern our existence here on earth without submitting our hearts unto the LORD.  Many say that they know the Lord, and do not.  Others say they can live sinful lives and still be saved, but the word of God does not support this view.

Let us prayerfully study the Word and make a conscious choice to find our way to the throne of God.  Become a character in the story as you “Consider” the scriptures below:

  • Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.  (Prov 30:5)
  • Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.  I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.  (Isaiah 45:22-23)
  • Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.  (Psalms 119:160)
  • I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. (Psalms 119:101)
  • But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matt 4:4)
